Who is Your Lord

Who is Your Lord?

Escape from a Huge Prison

The world we live in is a huge prison without bars. All the people in the world are living like prisoners who have received the death sentence.

Originally, God created human beings who lived forever. But unfortunately, sin entered the world through mankind and death came to all men.

However, loving God sent His only son, Jesus Christ to the world to bring salvation to all sinners. Jesus Christ was crucified and died for us. He who was without sin held the weight of all mankind’s sins and was punished.

But after three days, Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and banished death.

His death on the cross and resurrection from the grave are historical facts. Regardless of personal belief, whether you believe in Jesus Christ or not, His death and resurrection were undeniable historical events.

If Jesus was still in the grave after he died on the cross, He would be a mere mortal and a prisoner like us.

But by resurrection, Jesus Christ made an escape path in this huge prison. He made a way of life up to heaven, which all sinners can follow after being separated from this sinful world.

Therefore, we have a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ who has banished death. Even though we will die in the near future and our bodies will be corrupted, our spirit will live on forever in heaven. This is a good news. This is the truth.

So confess that Jesus is your Lord and Savior, and believe that He died for your sins and was resurrected from the dead. Surrender your life to Jesus Christ.

You must not continue living your life as you have been. Repent all your sins - lie, greed, arrogance, jealousy, hatred, slander, sexual immorality, laziness, selfishness, addiction, drunkenness, debauchery, disobedience to parents, idolatry.

God gives Holy Spirit to those who repent sins and kneel to Jesus Christ humbly.

Now open your heart and believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. The person who repents and is forgiven by His blood on the cross will follow Jesus Christ wholeheartedly and receive salvation and eternal life.

When the last day comes, God will ask you:

Who is your Lord?

“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32)

Pray for Jesus to Become Your Lord

Heavenly God, I have lived my life as if I was the Lord. However, today I realize I should not live my life on my terms. At this time, I repent all my sins and accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

From now on, I will not disobey my Lord and follow Him wholeheartedly. Heavenly God, please send your graceful Holy Spirit to me.
